Faith is not forged in the fire of perfection. It is refined in the ashes of brokenness.
When life unravels, when prayers seem unanswered, when the path ahead is foggy, faith whispers: “God is still here.”
This study invites us to lean into that whisper, to trust the One who never leaves, even when everything else does.
Isaiah 43:2
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”
*God does not promise we won’t face trials. He promises His presence in them.
Romans 8:28
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”
*Even in chaos, God is weaving redemption.
Psalm 34:18
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” *His nearness is most tender when our hearts are most fragile.
Philippians 3:13–14
“…Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
*What is ahead when we trust Him.
Is always greater than what we have lost.
There was a woman named Miriam.
She had a cherished vase.
It was a wedding gift from her late husband.
One day, it slipped from her hands and shattered. She cried, not just for the broken porcelain, but for the memories it held.
She tried to glue it back together, but the cracks remained visible.
A friend saw the broken vase and offered to help. Instead of hiding the cracks, she used a technique called kintsugi, A japanese art that fills the cracks with gold, making the brokenness part of the beauty.
Miriam placed the restored vase on her mantle. It no longer looked perfect, but it told a deeper story.
A story of love, loss, and healing.
She realized that her life, too, was being mended by the Master Artist.
The cracks did not disqualify her.
They became the very places where God’s glory shone through.
We all have a vase in our life that has been broken. Lean into that whisper, that says, “God is still here.” Have faith, and let Him restore your brokenness.
Oh, how God loves us ❤️
Dear Father in heaven,
Thank You for this day. Thank You for my family and friends.
Father, watch over and protect us from the snares of the enemy, that wants to destroy our lives, our hope, our faith.
Father, when life crumbles and the pieces scatter, please help us remember that You are near.
May we not forget that You are the God who walks through fire with us, who gathers the fragments, and who restores with grace.
Teach us to trust You. Not just when things go right, but especially when they go wrong.
May we see Your hand in the rebuilding, Your heart in the healing, and Your purpose in the pain.
Lead us forward, Father, with hope that what lies ahead is greater than what we have had to leave behind.
Fill our cracks with Your glory, and make our lives a testimony of Your faithfulness.
In Your Son’s precious name, Amen.
Have a blessed day 🙏
God loves you ❤️ and so do I ❤️
