Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Ephesians 6:11
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

Psalms 28:7
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me.

There is a truth stirring in my spirit that I feel compelled to share.

We can not ask God to heal us while clinging to the very things that wound us.

Whether it is bitterness, fear, addiction, unforgiveness, or compromise.

If we remain loyal to what breaks us, we resist the healing God longs to give.

Healing begins with surrender. It is not just asking God to fix what is broken.

It is laying down the hammer we have been using to break ourselves.
It is choosing to walk away from the habits, relationships, or mindsets that keep us bound.
It is saying, “Father, I want You more than I want this.”

God has equipped us for this battle.
Prayer is our weapon.

It tears down strongholds and invites heaven’s power.

His Word is our armor. It protects, guides, and renews our minds. And our strength?
It is not found in willpower or good intentions. It is found in Him alone.

If you have been asking for healing, I encourage you to also ask yourself this-
What am I still loyal to that is keeping me from wholeness?

And then let God reveal it to you.
And when He does, don’t delay but release it.

**I used to pray every night for God to heal my anxiety. I would cry out for peace, for rest, for freedom from the racing thoughts and constant fear.
But every morning, I would pick up my phone and scroll through toxic news, comparison posts, and voices that fed my insecurities.
I stayed loyal to the very things that stirred my anxiety, and I didn’t even realize it.

One day during prayer, I felt God whisper, “You are asking Me to heal what you will not let go.” It pierced me. I knew He was right.

That day, I deleted the apps that triggered me, set boundaries around my time, and began replacing those voices with His Word.

I started each morning with scriptures instead of screens and scrolling.
And slowly, the peace I had been praying for began to settle in.

God didn’t just heal me. He transformed me.

But you see it started with surrender.
I had to stop feeding the wound that brought me such grief and heartache, and
put my trust in my Healer.

Healing flows where surrender begins.
Give it, whatever it is, to God, and watch the healing He does in your life.

Oh, how God loves us ❤️

Dear Father in heaven,

You are the God who heals, restores, and makes all things new.

Today, may each of us come before You with open hands and willing hearts.

May we confess that we have held onto things that harm us. Habits, hurts, fears, and loyalties that do not honor You.

I know we sometimes ask for healing while still embracing the very things that wound us. Forgive us, Father.

Today, may we choose surrender.
Today, may we lay down every false comfort, every hidden sin, and every broken pattern.

Today, may we put on the armor of Your Word and take up the weapons of prayer.

Strengthen us in the battle.

Help us to walk away from what breaks us and run towards what builds us in You.

Let Your healing flow.
Not just over our bodies but through our souls, our relationships, and our choices.

Make us whole, Father.
And let our lives be a testimony of Your grace, Your power, and Your love.

In Your Son’s precious name,  Amen.

Have a blessed day 🙏
God loves you ❤️ and so do I ❤️
